I offer CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) to adult individuals. CBT is a goal orientated approach aiming to facilitate self awareness, compassion, learning and development. I also apply 'third wave' models of CBT.

I believe my previous 'Integrative' Psychotherapy training has given me an excellent discipline in relationship dynamics and ethics to build a non judgemental, safe and professional therapeutic relationship. This allows an environment for exploration, collaboration and change towards achieving your personal therapy goals.

During assessment and ongoing sessions, negative cycles of experience are identified (Vicious Cycles). The cycles are made of learnt unhelpful beleifs and behaviours, which we carry through our lives, formed in childhood. Over time these lose effectiveness and reinforce distress, once triggered. Resulting in keeping a part of you stuck, experiencing the same outcomes.

By learning how to challenge thinking and behaviour, these cycles can be exited, reducing distress and allowing the development of new beliefs, behaviours and experiences.

CUSTOMER TESTIMONIALS

Oli, 38, Hampshire

"When I walked into the room for the first time, I was at rock bottom, stuck in my shell and on ‘fire’ with anxiety. Tracie immediately put me at ease and created a very safe environment where I could finally talk in-depth about how I was feeling. Through CBT she provided me with a structure and the tools to firstly understand why I was feeling and reacting to situations in the way I was, and secondly how to manage those situations going forwards when they would inevitably arise throughout life. I can't recommend Tracie highly enough; her care and guidance has allowed me to enjoy my life again with all the challenges and nuances that come with it!"
